A highly respected national donor advised fund sponsor and Christian ministry organization is seeking a Deputy General Counsel to join its legal department.
This attorney will serve as a key legal advisor across a wide range of matters, including nonprofit compliance, tax-related issues, charitable structuring, and general corporate legal support.
The role is ideal for a business-minded attorney who enjoys working closely with leadership and enabling innovative, compliant solutions.
Work includes
• Complex nonliquid asset transactions
• Charitable giving structures and donor advised funds
• Privately held business and real estate donations
• Legal and tax risk analysis
• Negotiating donor and transaction agreements
• Advising leadership on sophisticated legal matters
• Supporting organizational governance and operational risk management
The organization is seeking an attorney who not only brings strong legal and transactional experience, but who also demonstrates genuine Christian faith, and is comfortable operating within a faith-centered ministry environment.
This is a 100% remote role. Limited travel to meet with donors may be required.

Requirements:
• JD from an accredited law school + active bar license. Experience in tax, nonprofit, estate planning, or corporate law
