We are proud to serve as the Broward County chapter of the Christian Legal Society (CLS) through the Broward County Christian Lawyers Association (CLA), a community of legal professionals committed to upholding biblical standards in the practice of law.
As Christian legal professionals, we recognize that our calling extends beyond the courtroom. We are entrusted to pursue justice with integrity, extend mercy with compassion, and walk humbly before God in every aspect of our practice and service.
The Broward County Christian Lawyers Association (CLA) was established more than 40 years ago to promote biblical standards of conduct among attorneys in Broward County. It has grown into an organization that provides opportunities through monthly meetings for fellowship, mutual edification, spiritual growth, and education on church and religious freedom issues.
The CLA is comprised of a diverse group of attorneys, including private practitioners, government attorneys, and law school professors. We also include associate members such as paralegals and other professionals, including accountants and bankers.
In a profession that shapes lives, families, and communities, we are called to be a light. Through fellowship, growth, and a shared commitment to biblical principles, the CLA seeks to equip and encourage attorneys to shine Christ’s light within the legal field and beyond.
