General Description

A Charitable Gift Planner (a.k.a Director of Gift Planning) position is a fundraising position that focuses on integrating charitable estate planning techniques into people’s existing or intended estate plans.   This position builds the pipeline of future gifts primarily through bequest commitments and life income plans.  The position includes being trained and learning tax, estate, and charitable planning techniques.  This is not an attorney position but uses legal concepts to create and  present donors and their advisors with gift options that beneficially impact the donor, their family, and The Salvation Army.   

Current openings include San Diego, CA, Ventura, CA, Seattle, WA and Denver, CO.
