For the first time in some years, CLS hosted a Northwest Regional Retreat, which took place in Yelm, Washington, March 3-5, 2023.

The theme of this year’s Northwest Regional Retreat was based on Colossians 3:17 – “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father and through him.”

It was an eventful, yet refreshing weekend at Cascade Springs as attendees heard from featured speakers on the theme, “Law: Calling AND Vocation.” There will be time for Q&A after each of the sessions. In addition, Herb Grey, a member of the CLS board of directors, presented an update on ABA Model Rule 8.4(g). CLS is in the application process for both Oregon and Washington to obtain CLE credit for this 1.0 hour session. It was a wonderful opportunity to network and fellowship in small groups throughout the three days and two nights.
