Registration
Register as early as possible to take advantage of the early bird discount. Payment in full is required to process all registrations. The registration fee covers all main sessions and workshops, three buffet breakfasts, and the Saturday evening banquet. We will confirm your completed registration by email. The status of your membership as of October 6, 2022, determines your registration fee. Those attending law school or undergraduate school full-time are considered “Students.” When both spouses are either attorneys, law students, or non-lawyer members, then the spouse with the higher registration fee must pay the full registration cost and the other pays the spouse fee.

Hotel Information
Our host hotel for the 2022 CLS National Conference is the VEA Newport Beach Hotel, formerly the Newport Beach Marriott, which is located at 900 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach, CA. The CLS group rate is $175/night. Hotel reservation deadline is 9/18.

Additionally, we ran through the room block at the VEA and have secured overflow roomsat the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach. You can book these rooms now; however,the room block expires on Tuesday, September 27! Yes, that’s just a few days away, so please act now.

Transportation
The hotel is located approximately six miles away from the John Wayne (Orange County) Airport (SNA). Rental cars, taxi service, and ride-sharing options are available at the airport. The hotel offers valet parking only and is $30/night plus tax.

CLE Credits
CLS will be applying for state bar approved CLE credits. There is no additional charge for CLE credits for workshop sessions; however, you must provide your bar license number(s) at the time of registration to receive credit. CLE credit is also available for the main session on Friday morning. CLE credits will be provided for workshops that qualify, which is dependent on the rules of each accrediting state.

Dress
Dress for the conference is business casual. Saturday evening banquet is business formal.

Special Needs
If you have dietary or other special needs, please let us know when you register so that we can make arrangements to accommodate your needs.

Cancellations
Any cancellation/request for a refund must be made in writing, and CLS will issue a cancellation number. If the request is received on or before September 2, 2022, a $75 administrative fee will apply. If received by 4:00 pm (Eastern) on September 30, 2022, a $150 fee will apply. No refunds will be given after 4:00 pm (Eastern) on September 30, 2022. No-shows will not receive a refund. Health-related issues will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Childcare
Childcare will not be available.
