It is with great regret that we have decided to cancel the Christian Legal Aid Midwest Retreat.  As I’m sure you are all aware, health experts are recommending people avoid public gatherings across the country, and the state of Ohio is predicting over 100,000 people may be infected.

All registrants will automatically receive a credit back for your registration fee on your credit card account.  If you do not receive the credit within 2 weeks, please let us know.

We were very much looking forward to having leaders, staff, and volunteers from 8 different Christian Legal Aid clinics (and even one person from Canada) present:

Unfortunately, we do not plan to reschedule the retreat this year.  Instead, I hope we can all meet each other at the annual Christian Legal Aid Summit, to be held (God willing) on the first day of the Christian Legal Society National Conference in Washington, DC, October 15-18, 2020.  It is a day full of valuable legal aid training and networking.  More details to come.

The theme of the retreat was “Being a Blessing to Our Neighbors in Need (and Being Blessed by Doing So)”.  May the Lord bless you as you go forth serving the needy in your communities!
