Resources:
Law Student Ministry
Our Law Student Ministry currently includes law students at Loyola, Pepperdine, Southwestern, UCLA, and USC. Each chapter has a student leader and attorney advisor, and some also have a faculty sponsor.
Each chapter holds its own events for its members, such as weekly meetings or Bible studies. In addition, CLS Los Angeles holds one or more events throughout the year for all the chapters, allowing students from different schools to meet and fellowship with one another. Such events have included panel discussions with local attorneys on job search strategies and a beach bonfire.
If you’re interested in getting involved in the Law Student Ministry, please contact clsla.email@juno.com.
Legal Aid Ministry
We have started a Legal Aid Ministry in Los Angeles. Christian Legal Aid of Los Angeles is working in conjunction with Catholic Charities to hold legal aid clinics once a month for low income people with legal problems. It provides legal and spiritual counseling and referrals for those needing additional legal assistance. If you are interested in participating, check out their website: https://www.cla-la.org.
