The Brennan Law Firm, LLC is currently a one-attorney law firm with a staffed office in Sugar Land and an unstaffed office in Annapolis, Maryland. The Firm seeks to provide exceptional legal services to individuals and businesses. We are seeking an experienced Office Manager and Legal Assistant to join our team and contribute to the success of our firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the office including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and greeting clients
• Assist attorney with legal and nonlegal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing court filings
• Handle billing and financial matters including preparing invoices, processing payments, and managing accounts payable/receivable
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files for the firm
• Coordinate and plan meetings with clients and other interested parties

Salary: Negotiable.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in business administration, legal studies, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience as office manager, legal assistant or both. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with litigation, real estate, probate, estate planning, and/or business transactions a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (required), Quickbooks (preferred)
