Associate attorney needed for small Naperville law office.  Practice areas are real estate, estate planning and estate settlement to include probate, tax preparation and advising, and small business transactions and advising.

This is an opportunity for a motivated attorney to learn a variety of interconnected practice areas, and to learn how to build a client base.

Duties and skills required are as follows:

• Strong writing and communication skills, especially for writing letters and emails, and other communication with attorneys and clients.
• Being independently and proactively responsible for files and tracking important deadlines.
• Ability to drive to title companies, county offices, or court houses.
• Ability to work with numbers and data entry for tax returns, particularly during tax season January through April.
• Computer skills required are use with Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to manage a calendar.

Salary or salary range: Salary will be based on experience.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, or soon to be graduating.
• Admission to the Illinois State Bar, or soon to be taking the bar exam.

Client base covers all of the Chicagoland area, with heavy concentration from southwest to northwest suburbs. Many of our clients have been long time clients or referrals from existing clients.
