Join Christian Legal Aid programs from New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia for a time of fellowship, rest, and prayer. Learn and share with fellow volunteers, both attorneys and non-attorneys, about growing in our ability to serve those in need. Come and recharge your passion for justice, gain some practical knowledge, and be spiritually encouraged.

Featured Speaker: Joel S. Woodruff, Ed.D.

Joel is the President of the C.S. Lewis Institute in Springfield, Va., whose mission is to develop disciples of Jesus Christ who will articulate, defend, share, and live their faith in personal and public life. Joel has worked in higher education, “tent-making,” nonprofit administration, and pastoral ministries in Alaska, Israel, Hungary, France, and Northern Virginia. He served as Dean of Students, Chaplain, and Professor of Bible & Theology at European Bible Institute. He is a graduate of Wheaton College, earned his M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and has a doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Joel will deliver the closing talk at our retreat on Sunday morning.

Registration fee: $30/person plus hotel lodging rate

Deadline for discounted registration was March 31, 2018. Rates are now full cost.

Triple Occupancy: $184

Double Occupancy: $234

Commuter Rate: (includes 5 buffet meals) $120

We currently only have double and triple occupancy rooms available. This means that you will be paying for one spot in one room. CLS will assign you to a room with other people. (unless you’re coming with a spouse, in which case – notate that in your registration) If you know others coming to the retreat and would like to request them as roommates, please indicate that on your registration.

If you would like to book at a nearby hotel or AirBnB please do so and then choose our “commuter” rate registration which will cover your food and registration fee.
